Good care, efficiently delivered! Had an infected tic bite and I got an appointment within just a few hours. The PA (Kelly) diagnosed it, and sent me on my way with a prescription and instructions called in to the lab within 20 minutes. Easiest medical visit ever! Plus, much quicker and less expensive than going to the ER.

I stopped in one Friday morning with an infected finger. Certainly not life threatening but I was concerned because I was afraid that by Monday it'd be a lot worse. Tiffany came to my rescue and got me in to see a doctor. She is the glue that holds the clinic together. Patients, Doctors, and Nurses dance around her in the office as she keeps the flow going. And she pleasantly calls to remind patients of their appointments! So I got my antibiotics and my finger is back to normal. Thanks Tiffany !! 🙂

We saw Dr Yukevich for our son's ear infection while vacationing. Staff, appointments, service, and the doctor were all professional. They worked us in the day we called. This was in stark contrast to a medical group over in Oak Bluffs that said an appointment would be two weeks out. Really do not understand any reviews less than 4 or 5 stars for Vineyard Medical Care.

Unfortunately I had a very unhelpful experience here while on vacation. Needed to see a doctor or speak to a nurse due to a couple issues I was experiencing and the woman I spoke to was pretty short and said there was nothing they could do for me and that they were booked up for the next several days. They’re the only medical care center on the island other than the ER so it seems they are very busy and understaffed and unequipped to handle walk-ins or emergencies. I also got the sense that they were upset I was even walking in.

The website and sign say this is the Vineyard’s only walk in clinic. However, this is false advertising and the people working in the reception area are not very nice human beings and should not be in the health services industry. I am on vacation and, unfortunately, got sick and found Vineyard Medical Center on a google search. The website said they accept walk-ins. I called to verify— and the automated phone message said the same thing. So I drove myself to the Vineyard Medical Center to get help. Upon arrival, I was very rudely turned away and the receptionist said I needed to make an appointment(?). I never felt more unwelcome. From the moment I walked in the door, the receptionist and another employee were talking to each other and very loudly said “Are you serious? It’s non stop!” They were audibly and visibly upset by my presence. They continued to talk to each other ignoring me for almost 10 minutes while I stood there waiting patiently. The receptionist finally asked what I wanted and then in a negative tone said to me, “I know the website and phone message say we are a walk-in clinic, but we are not. You should have made an appointment earlier today.” How was I supposed to know this? The receptionist directed me to the nearby hospital emergency room. This was very frustrating, especially since I was sick and needed to see a doctor. I assured her I have good health insurance that allows me to see doctors anywhere. She still refused to sign me in. I guess it was too close to quitting time on a Friday? The way she treated me made me feel as if my race (African American female) played a role in her refusal to see me? I also wondered if the receptionist’s behavior is a reflection of the doctors who work here? If so, I am relieved I was turned away. Instead, I contacted my primary care physician who prescribed medicine over the phone. I was able to get what I needed at a nearby pharmacy. I am writing this so others know the website and signs are false advertising and the workers are rude. Do not get sick and go to Vineyard Medical Center. Walk-in patients are not welcome here.

I am a health professional with a progressive pain syndrome that has not been able to be diagnosed because I can’t get to see specialists. I went to Vineyard medical out of desperation. They were wonderful, kind, concerned and went way out to help me. They offered to serve as my PCP and arranged referrals to physical therapy, neurology and orthopedics. I can’t say enough about their caring services. I would highly recommend them not just as a walk in clinic but as great caring doctors. If I could give more than five stars I would.

Dr Yukevich was amazing. All the warmth, compassion and bedside manner of a small town doctor, coupled with a deft and decisive diagnosis and treatment worthy of the best. VMC were accommodating when my family needed them most — a daughter who came down with strep. Grateful for the timely and breadth of professionalism and kindness the clinic showed…Thank you!!!

It’s sad that this is one of the few Urgent Cares on MV. “Urgent” is far from the care or attitude of the workers and that’s probably because Dr. Wolf treats his patients the same way. Unprofessional and an utter disregard for a patients time or pain.
If you need medical help try to to be seen at another facility or be ready to deal with awful medical service.
