came to write a review - saw all the others and now i know im not crazy.

There are some good doctors at this practice and it’s unfortunate because they really are outshined by the bad.
I’ve had two very bad experiences with the male doctors at this practice. One making me wait 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment, then coming in and dismissing all my questions.
The other having a very aggressive demeanor with my 1 year old when we had to come in for a sick visit. I’ve never had a sick child like that before and he made me feel like an idiot.

I was told multiple times that i would receive a call back and either i get a message on mychart, or somehow there was no record of my call.

the lack of respect for lil babies radiates out of this place.
- if you gotten this far, choose a different practice for your little one.

This place gives 0 shits and am just leaving this review to ensure parents who look this place up don’t come here. Please don’t even bother posting the generic response to this review as you don’t even follow up when concerns are voiced to your “nurses” after another useless appointment. Your nurse who agreed a cough for a 2 year old should not last months and promises to follow up because they agree and think I am being a good mom... It’s a lie, you don’t… I am still waiting. AND I knew I should have followed up when I saw 0 records of the call in my son’s mychart. And now I’m also leaving this practice because I need to go to a place that at the very minimum can provide honest, and transparent care to their patients who are in a very vulnerable age group. Also find it funny I have not received any of the normal post care follow up calls..

Absolutely love this place for my babies! All of the providers and nurses go above and beyond. My daughter can be tough and they always make things work for her, especially Michelle! Thank you

The scheduling is a joke. I wanted my infant son to be seen for an acute issue. I called yesterday and I was told I would have to call at 8am the next day to get an appointment that isn't prescheduled. I called at 8am today. 4 separate times, with no answer. Finally I called back around 8:30 and was told there weren't any appointments available and that I would have to call back tomorrow morning at 8am. This is the worst scheduling system I have ever heard of. Not to mention the secretary was terribly rude. So now I have to delay another day for my son to be seen, and HOPEFULLY he get an appointment.

My kids are 18 and 17 both have been here since birth. The practice has always shown concern but over the last 5 or so years it's become an unreliable at best office. So many excuses as to why they can't see you. My daughter's physical was cancelled 2 times. So it became 6 months later than it should have. The excuse the majority of the time is 2 Drs called out sick today. That's great but why does your issue become mine? My advice is to seek alternatives as ithis office no longer offers the type of care it once did

I got a reminder call this morning about my son's upcoming appointment on August 29th for his physical and they said it wasn't with the doctor (a male doctor) that I had scheduled it with (it was with a woman). When I talked to Shirley and told her who I had scheduled it with, she said that was wrong. My son is 19 and wants to see a male doctor, and he works, so that is why I had scheduled the appointment months ago on one of his days off with Dr. Mendes. When I asked again for an appointment on a Tuesday or a Wednesday with a male doctor the earliest I could get an appointment is October 18th. I asked if there was anything sooner and she said "Not if you want it with a male doctor." She was very rude. I am not the one that made the mistake. We have been going to this office since my son was born and Shirley is the RUDEST person I have ever talked to.

I brought both of my boys here from 2010 to 2019. The only reason I stopped was because we moved to Florida. My oldest son, who was an adult, stayed behind. Well, he just had his first baby with his wife. Now, he's bringing their baby to Dr. Mendes.

Dr. Mendes was always so attentive, and caring. When my oldest son was hit by a car, he was right there. When my youngest was coping with anxiety and depression, Dr. Mendes was right there. He was never quick to prescribe medications unless absolutely necessary. He didn't push unnecessary vaccines. He guided me on the latest medical science to keep my boys healthy. He was never condescending or judgemental. He was always patient and has a great sense of humor. He always listen to all my concerns, and addressed everything from a medical, and personal perspective understanding that what works for one family may not work for another. My youngest son cried leaving him. He didn't want to start at a new doctor because Dr. Mendes was the only doctor he knew and felt comfortable with.

It's nice to know that now my grand daughter will be in Dr. Mendes' care. I trust him 💯.

My daughter has been going to Wareham Pediatrics for about 10 years now. Dr. Reynolds is her pediatrician and he is absolutely amazing. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more professional, amazing, helpful, caring doctor. He listens very well, and tries to help out with whatever it is that is going on. We always leave the office very happy. Thank you Wareham Pediatrics for being the best you can be.
