Band-aid hospital!
Even that is a stretch to ask for. They “may” can keep you alive to get to Mobile for more competent health. They take the “care” out of “healthcare”

I've been treated in the ER and used their radiology department several times. Great staff who are clearly dedicated to patient care! The new Emergency Department facilities are amazing and unlike anything in the region.

I brought my wife to this ER 05/15/2023 for chest pain. Was greeted a door by a male nurse, helped my wife from the car and at the mention of chest pain he changed gears. Assessment was immediate, 12 lead, v/s, ER Dr. Called, 12 lead read STEMI, Protocol started to manage MI with appropriate treatment, transport arrangements started, Cardiologist at MIMC contacted, TpA infusion started. EMS arrives with no Medic, so instead of letting nurse ride with crew to airport for a Hot Load to aircraft, which he could do as a RN, the nurse manager or whoever this person was says no to him riding. Continues with her egotistical, power tripping, unprofessional attitude and tells ems to go pick up air crew and return to ER to get my wife, all of this taking place in front of an acutely Ill and very scared patient. She cost us an hour or better in time wasted by her exerting her authority. The hospital itself, the 2 nurses, and the doctor were stellar in providing care. The power tripper needs to find somewhere else to go. As a retired medic with 16 years in an ER, don't tell me the RN was out of his level of care, you were wrong and how you portrayed yourself shames the nursing profession.

Needs to be shut down. Lied about not being able to treat an abscessed tooth! (1st visit)
(Second visit) Me my fiancee and our son visited this place Today 7-27-2018 we checked in at the desk and immediately received an room. We were happy, a couple nurses come by and do the normal blood pressure checks etc and left. An hour passes by and some nurse comes in the room and tells us we need this room for another patient and she put us in a cramped er office. No apologies no nothing just a stiff idc face. We never saw the doctor We got fed up and left 30 minutes after we were kicked from our room. Ill never return to this place.

These people have lost their minds. I went to vist my grandmother and brought my INFANT child as well. They tried to mask my INFANT CHILD. We heard 3 different "rules" regarding this. This is Alabama, not some communist country. An infant under 2 poses no threat to the patients as far as covid is concerned. The CDC doesn't recommend making an INFANT wear a mask.
