I do really appreciate the love, care and support the staff from Wayside give to my child and my family. The director of the program is always available, even on her vacation she answers her phone try to help or resolve the situation. The clinician is phenomenal, dedicated and full of love and kindness giving her best to make my son life better.

The staff at wayside has made this difficult time for my family easier. Verona, Lindsay, and Will are the best. They have been excellent about communicating with me about my son’s progress and they genuinely care about him. If I have any concerns or questions I know I can just pick up the phone and reach them directly and I am always met with warmth and kindness. They show up to all our meetings ready to make a difference with their insights and they take an interest in his education. It takes a special kind of person to do the work they do and I am grateful for them.

I can’t say enough about some of the staff and management at Wayside.They did a great job working with us through a tough time. They treated our son with respect and really looked after his best interest. Once my son realized that the treatment would help him. They were able to get a though to him on his well being and making better choices in life. I just want to say thanks and I am grateful for all there help.

The Director, Verona, and the staff were very supportive of my family situation and needs.
Verona always made herself available to address any questions or concerns I had, even after hours.
All encompassing services were available to clients. If you took advantage of these services,
set goals could be met. Wayside also coordinated and participated in all necessary meetings with outside agencies.
I am appreciative of all the support provided by Verona and staff, as well as the effort they expended in encouraging the importance of self achievement.

I have nothing but good things to say about Wayside, from their Director, admin, to their counselors, communication was great. They sure do go above and beyond.
If you’re looking for a place for your child to get the help they need Wayside is the place for them. I felt good knowing that my child was in the best hands possible. they get a five star for me💕

Zero stars to this program is worse my child is only been there for few months I will try my best to change my child to other program they no helping at all with the mental health I don't know what kind of psychiatric school . That keep A student a suspension due to the of behavior and detention for no reason and Denying them the care they need when they want to call the parents . Of they want to speak with Vice principal they need to write a note

this program is the worst program i’ve ever been the staff are absolutely horrible and treat the kids there horrible they leave kids in there room and don’t let them come out to 2-3 days and have staff bring them food etc, all my stuff there were taken by staff and after i left i never got them back, i’ve had staff take my personal drinks and food this place is the worst.

i’m going to be 100% transparent. i have been in multiple different homes, cbats, hospitals. and when i tell you wayside was the worst experience i have ever been in, oh please believe it. this does not come from a place of hatred , but a place of truth. the three females who ran the program when i was there were so extremely unprofessional. they would pick fights with the kids, and in a weird way, they were jealous of certain girls and it showed. they would pick favorites, be more lenient to others based off of who would do more favors for them. don’t get me wrong, there are some staff who worked there who i absolutely loved. they were caring, but it was very hard for them to do their jobs because they had to listen to such irresponsible higher up’s. and they deserved better because they were disrespected also. the conditions of the rooms, the bathrooms, just the units in general were absolutely filthy. there was mice and no one really cared to clean the rooms for a new client. most of the staff ( not all ) gave off punishments based off of pettiness. they would take it to the extreme for something so small. why work with kids if you can’t control your emotions? this was such a mentally draining place. so much disgusting stuff goes on, from staff being sexual towards children, sharing wayyy too personal information, gossiping about other staff, showing/being too comfortable with certain clients. i remember when i tried to complain to the head of the program, she told me to pass the message and set up an appointment with my clinician. which i had already tried to multiple times, but clearly she thought she was some local celebrity. i do not wish this establishment on anyone. its truly terrible, and reading these other comments and seeing the terrible experiences people went through is heartbreaking. this place truly needs a wash down. seriously .
