Well I can say all they care to get them salary, doctor or nurses who came to work to help patients in reality wouldn't reject what's important to hard working clients, or judging them by outfit and jealous look like. Would be good if they concentrate to provide real help and support to people In pain, depression or else, and must give patients speak too not only they talk. Remember!: treat people the way you would like to be treated! This days many lasy workers, instead provide proper treatment they mostly gossip with each other and look at ill people very wierd. Not good service

This place will cause more damage to your mental health by not being very professional at all rescheduling appointments not very patient oriented very unprofessional I'm not sure how anybody there has a degree considering I have lost a psychologist and a therapist I was seeing two different people through this company and they both dropped me and when I called the office they told me I was not an active patient and when somebody finally gets back with me and I explained the situation they give me rude attitude and nonchalant about my current mental health by the way they were supposed to be monitoring my meds, and I can't even let them fix it because they're not even give me the right mgs . AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU VALUE YOUR PEACE my doctors for Dr Badowski and Dr Zidelle

I had blood taken, that went really well, staff was friendly, they did run out of some kind of vile so couldn't do a complete test. Three months and I haven't been able to see or speak to my Dr. Because of that, I have lost the continuation of my state disability insurance, four months worth now. The reasoning I was told was I needed evaluation, I've been ready for all office visits but all have been cancelled except the first time where they took my info, that alone should've been enough for them. Unhappy individual.

Dr. Smita Subramaniam is without a doubt the WORST doctor we have ever had. My mother is in a lot of pain in result of the cancer she had; the nurse would ask us if my mother has any pain and we'd say yes every time, only for Doctor Smita to completely ignore it and recommend vitamin D. She also rudely makes comment about weight (she literally called my mom fat and overweight, and judging by other reviews on here, she does that to a lot of her patients), and she also pushes multiple vaccines on you over listening to you. This doctor does NOT listen to you. She is completely dismissive of anything you tell her. Any symptons, pain, etc. None of it matters to her. She just checks her computer, sees that your past tests have been fine, and then moves on to recommend you 10 different types of vaccines unrelated to literally anything you are there for.

Please if you are reading this, avoid this doctor and this clinic at all costs. Do whatever you have to do. If you are on Medi-Cal like my mother is, call them and request a clinic change or a primary care provider change. Look it up and do it. I'm telling you, please listen to me and avoid this clinic and this doctor. She does not care about you and I wish I had listened to all these other horrible reviews instead of going "eh maybe we'll be fine". If this helps even one person then I'm glad.

Dr. Smita was absolutely TERRIBLE. I have never seen a doctor put off so many serious things instead of helping the patient take care of them. The phone staff also went ahead and cancelled my follow up appointment without my permission since they could not “tell” if they were my primary clinic..after I told them repeatedly that they were. I had to call about 9 times to get through and get that appointment in the first place. Then I had to call a few more times to have THEM UNDERSTAND they are my primary clinic and call a few more times so that they set me up with another appointment finally. This appointment was another month after the one they cancelled. When I finally do get through Dr. Smita this past time I needed an urgent appointment after going to the ER, she refuses to give me a referral to a specialist. I have been having breathing trouble since the first time I’ve seen her and she has done little to take care of the problem, even after having a CT scan done and having her take a look at it. She tells me to go back to the ER again to see if it really is serious without any follow up referral to a specialist and HANGS UP. What a joke. I’ve never been treated so unprofessionally by a Health Clinic.

My name is Berta Fernandez, and my son have mental problems and we are so lucky to have Dr. Iman Parhami psychiatry speciast. He is the best doctor that I have ever met, he is excellent and he goes the extra mile to help the patients.
Dr Parhami and Cesar Carreño are a very good team 👏

Awful place. Doctors don't listen to you, just want to talk over you and throw a bunch of medications at you which I find to be highly irresponsible. Also, I am 5'6 145lbs and all my doctor Smita Subramaniam wanted to talk about was that I'm " too fat" she even went up to me and squeezed my stomach area and said " see". She went on to tell me not to enjoy food this Christmas break but to just enjoy talking so I can " look better". This was wildly unprofessional. She did not want to listen to my mental health concerns and she refused to give me a referral to a neurologist for my chronic migraines which I was hospitalized for for a week. The medications she put me on are not helping only making me feel worse and I'm missing more work. I told her this and she did not care one bit.

If you expect your experience to run smoothly and the staff and doctors to work with you as efficiently, effectively, and urgently as you need and deserve, you need to consider a different planet, because this medical facility is the opposite of that.

West Valley Health Center (WVHC):

1. Constant phone service failures.
2. WVHC essentially never picks up the phone, regardless of light or heavy workload that day.
3. WVHC doesn't respond to voice-mails in a timely or urgent manner.
4. WVHC staff are severely incompetent.
5. It requires ~10-20 phone calls, 2-4 in-person visits, and 2-3 completed doctor's appointments at WVHC to achieve anything beneficial, if you're lucky.
6. Dr. Smita Subramaniam has an extreme reluctance to... doing anything that will actually benefit the patient... (such as referrals to specialists, relevant doctors, and examinations or tests, etc.).
7. There are significant waiting periods and road blocks every step of the way of which... the patient is absolutely helpless in their suffering, while making repeated phone calls, appointments, and asking for things to move along with scheduling, referrals, authorizations, etc.
8. Very early on, patients develop a sense of: "Nothing will get done to help me from WVHC, unless I essentially DO their work for them, as in.. schedule my own appointment, authorize or certify my own information, make the calls to the relevant doctors and facilities, and acquire my own referrals and tests.. manually."
9. If you happen to get lucky enough to actually finally be seen by Dr. Smita Submarine, very quickly you learn that... she will do almost nothing to help you (referrals/tests/authorizations) unless you're in the process of visually bleeding your heart out on her like a waterfall. Then... she might "consider" a referral or test to be done with the purpose of addressing your ailments... "within a couple months.. or so."
10. Asking to expedite anything serious or pressing at WVHC results in... chuckles and a repeated, "We'll do our best I guess. Trust the process." (Trust the process, the one that fails in almost every area. That's fairly comedic, don't you think.)

Dr. Smita Subramaniam (who is extremely deficient and almost completely useless) says I have to be fat to get a referral for sleep apnea. Both of my parents have severe sleep apnea, and the likelihood that I have it or will eventually have it is very high, and I described my concerning symptoms in detail, requested a sleep apnea test referral, and it simply did not matter at all what I had to say... she declined and dismissed everything, and the only parameter she said was that I was required to be fat in order for her to send in a sleep apnea test referral.

(Her knowledge of sleep apnea and other conditions is very lacking, which is making innocents suffer, especially when all she needs to do is send off a proper referral for a doctor or test... something that should be done easily and hastily without issue, given sufficient evidence of an urgent condition.)
