I love the doctors we have there, but the communication is awful. Call center seems to do as vest they can, but once you get to specific departments it falls apart. I spent most of this past week trying yo reach anyone regarding a very important medication for my child, and no one would reach back out to me regarding an update. I called several times, sent portal messages, and had to go in physically on lunches and after work to make myself known. Only through Facebook messaging did I get anywhere, and they asked me not to. When I pointed out their very clear failures... SILENCE.

Julie in referrals should be fired today.
Rude and hurtful with a sprinkle of judgey.

I was waiting for Western Sierra to receive my STAT referral to rule out an ectopic pregnancy... something I had gone to emergency for and was extremely scared to have as the last one almost resulting my death...

All I needed was an ultrasound. She'd never have to deal with me again. Without asking any info etc just said, I don't mean to sound insensitive but we can't help you. I said why,she says this is something you PCP can do....

WHY WOULD I GET REFERRED IF THEY COULD

She was rude. Wouldn't proceed with making an apt. MIND YOU, MY BODIES BEEN BLEEDING AND IVE BEEN IN PAIN FOR ALMOST A WEEK....AN ULTRA SOUND WAS NEEDED STAT TO RULE OUT AN ECTOPIC PREGNANCY.

What if I died due to her negligence? No compassion or understanding. She just didn't wanna do the paper work to help me.

Let's also add that it took 3 days for someone to get back to me. I called everyday.

I was a patient with western Sierra when I first got to Grass Valley and hated them. People there hate their jobs and only muster the strength to go cuz it's close and they just have to half ass it till they can go home. Fine... I've never seen great customer service .
Someone told me about Stallant so I go there now but due to distance wished I was back at WS but after today I'm so thankful my providers care. I only wish they had all the means to not have to refer us places...especially to places like this.

I hate this place so much.

Please.. your body deserves to be cared on and not misunderstood just because someone hates their job...

I have to wait now till another place gets the paperwork and can schedule me... meanwhile I'm hoping nothing bad happens to me.

Been tripping stressed and in pain emotional etc and all this lady had to do was process my paper work. Make an appointment. Send paper work. Done. But no....Julie triggered more trauma.

URGENT CARE LOL not so Urgent
They do not answer the phone and do not call their patients back. Was sent for Labs and X-ray and I cannot get results as I sit here sick and wondering if I have an infection and need Antibiotics because I am not getting better. I bet their billing department would answer the phone cause its all about the money. Problem is how do they bill anyone if they will not diagnose you, go over Labs with you etc. Pathetic

The doctors don’t know what the heck they are doing. This is the place I have to go because my insurance assigned me to it and every time I come in they never help. They have misdiagnosed me and are always confused. Only time they might be able to help is if you have a condition that might kill you. They seem to only really treat those severe trauma things… Like when I had pneumonia bad. The only time they have been able to help me. It’s no surprise though since the vast majority of doctors here in America are not taught right and usually only care about money anyway. 😐 If anyone is reading this and is chronically ill in some way, I recommend the Spring Center in Costa Mesa if you are able to go. They are the first doctors who know exactly what to do to help me and are actually helping CURE me of my issues. They are literally miracle workers. They were able to test and diagnose me with lots of things, including SIBO. Now I’m being treated for it and feel so much better already… And the doctor at the urgent care told me he had never heard of SIBO and to not trust the Spring Center cuz he didn’t think SIBO was real… Ummm… What the heck.

I brought my 8month old son in many times for his eczema which had been ongoing for months and was very uncomfortable for him.  He had a rash around his neck that was getting worse even though we cleaned it often.
He also had a cough, with phlegm in his chest, and a runny nose that had been going on for 2 months at that point. I specifically asked if this could be food related. I was assured by the NP that it was not food related and that this was normal for a child his age. A phlegmy cough and runny nose for 2 months is not normal!

I was not convinced that this was normal so I started researching and sure enough so many parents were experiencing this with dairy. I decided to get my son off of dairy formula and sure enough, a week later his eczema was clearing up. It is now gone 2 weeks later. and his cough and runny nose were gone!! It is insane that I went for medical advice and was told it was just normal!
I wish there was a better option for care in this county

This is for Cardiologist Department I made an appointment easily and everyone i had talk to was nice and professional. I had a Dr I believe her name was Tiffany also the nurse was great they took care of me and told me what maybe going on and why I may have a high heart rate but I'll be wearing a heart monitor for a week so the dr can see what's going on with my heart with my everyday life and while doing activities and whatever I do during my day. I'm really glad she just didn't diagnose me with somthing she thinks it was and is willing to make sure it's nothing else. She was very nice good listener caring and professional as everyone in that department was as well. I'm awaiting for my heart monitor appointment as of now hoping all is ok but I wanted to let everyone know how there Carodiology department was 🙂 as far as the other departments idk

Dr Zimmerman in the urgent care unit is truly an amazing dr who cares about people and their health. Very rare to have a good experience in urgent care, so I can't praise him enough.

I was seen Western Sierra for a skin condition. I knew exactly what it was since I have had it before. When I explained to the nurse, she relayed the message to the attending doctor who then walked in the room and immediately dismissed my self diagnosis and prescribed over-the-counter Cortisone. Now, I am 62 years old. I know what I have and I didn’t appreciate what she did because for three more weeks I suffered with a skin ailment That causes scarring . Just because her ego got the best of her. Ordinarily Sierra med clinic is pretty good, but this experience really upset me. She refused to give me the medicine I needed to clear this up. I have since got a hold of a small amount and immediately my skin started to clear up and heal. She was terrible. I hope I never deal with somebody like her again.
