For a small hardware store, they sure do pack a punch. I come here for both work and home projects. They have basics and sometime surprise me with a lot of inventory of items I don't even see options for online. They've cut keys for me, cut pvc pipe, and I just dropped off to fix a sliding door screen with no-hassle. I've had great interactions with Ray, who is the machinist type and is constantly between repairing/physical things AND serving customers directly. While he was writing my service ticket, he was called on twice on the radio to help other customers. I hope Ace might hire more talented folks like him who are more hands on.

Looking for high powered dinar to kill weeds (yes it isa a real product). Could not find it among weed killers. Asked a salesperson for help. He reached right down near me and handed me a bottle of 30% vinegar. It was right next to the other weed killers I just did not see it. At home I transferred it to a pump bottle. It was then I read the uses of the product and it said NOT FOR KILLING (desiccating) weeds. $35 wasted.

Great customer service and good selection of things I need when something breaks or I need to finish a project. I had a painting project and needed advice - the associate there answered all of my questions, didn't try to steer me towards anything but gave me the pros and cons of several good approaches. It massively improved my plan and the project turned out great. This is a good store for when you want a little extra guidance on something. I really like stores like this - they provide that knowledge that helps you do the things you're trying to do!

This is a pretty good location if you need something quick the convenience factor is the main thing. Prices are of course way over the top. The employees have mood swings you never know when one of them is going to be rude to you for no reason all the sudden. Blake has snapped at me for no reason a couple of times. Not sure why I saw the employees have to be rude. All I do is come in there with a pleasant attitude and give them my business for the past couple years.

We needed some " Anything sticks to anything glue" at Safeway,next door. So I went to our friendly ,next door, hardware store , Ace. I was greeted as I entered. Then shown where to find the adhesives. I told the rep what I was glueing ,then he suggested Weld Bond. It's description fit the job. 👍 Customer service,👍 Suggested Product, 👍👍 for the convenient location.
