Wheeler OP helped a friend recovering from a massively broken left leg, fitting him with a knee brace and lace-up ankle brace that help stabilize his walking. From the moment we hit the parking lot (the owner of the company helped move my friend's wheelchair!) to staff (Katie, Laura, & everyone else being champions of efficiency & kindness), we had a great experience.

We went to the Phoenix location. It's a bit tricky to get into (go south on 7th Avenue to turn right onto Earll, parking lot behind building). Inside, the lobby is spotless & comfortable. The physiotherapy equipment is all new, clean, strong, & very well-designed. Wheeler is well stocked with ready-to-use braces in most sizes, & can quickly order in different pieces.

This place will get you moving again!

I had an amazing experience at Wheeler Orthotics and Prosthetics. I was originally referred to another orthotics company in town, but they were not able to see me for two months. I called Wheeler Orthotics and Prosthetics and they quickly got all of my information and set an appointment up for me within a week! I'd like to thank Wheeler O&P so very much! I am very Blessed this Christmas to have the ABILITY to not only walk but check me out DANCING!! The Team over at Wheeler treat me AND my family like FAMILY. Just a little history Coming to, after surgery to amputate my right leg below the knee, I was obviously an emotional wreck. Stephanie, from the Wheeler team was there, not only wrapping my leg, but wrapping her arms around me, comforting me there in my greatest time of need when I was feeling the most alone I have ever felt in my entire life. She was there. Laying in a hospital bed for weeks she would pop in and check on me, every Dr. Visit with my Ortho team, she was there, when I got a blood infection and went back to the hospital, she was there. AND THIS IS EVEN BEFORE I GOT MY PROSTHETIC LEG! Then when I went to the Wheeler office I met Dr. Seth O'Brian, who BTW knows a little something about being an amputee? He himself is an amputee and has a prosthetic leg just like me!! His assistant Edgar is a stud and the whole office staff makes me and my family feel so welcome in there office that has a gym in it! I Can't wait to see what the New Year has to offer over at Wheeler and just Proud to be a part of the Wheeler Prosthetic Team

Went in on Wednesday May 17th for an adjustment on my leg. Walked in just fine and after being with the technician for two hours wound up having to limp my way to my car as he destroyed my leg. I used to recommend Wheeler a lot now I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. I highly recommend you do whatever it takes to get Dean McCleve back. Obviously he is the one guy that knows what to do to adjust a leg without taking a grinder to it.

I called looking to set up an appointment. The gal who answered ( I apologize, I forgot her name) walked me through everything I needed to do with the insurance company and dr’s office to expedite the process, because I needed the brace asap. Everything she told me was spot on and worked. I got in 30 minutes later for an appointment and walked out with my brace as well as Dave ( fitting technician) adjusting my crutches. To top it off she gave some homemade bread and homemade jam along with some water. Dave was very helpful in fitting and explaining the brace to me as well. A-1 experience and I highly recommend Wheeler Medical in Chandler AZ
