I had been seeing Dr. Dixon since 2005 and when I reached menopause they told me I only needed to come in once every two years. The last two times I made appointments they told me since I didn’t come in every year (they wouldn’t let me) I was considered a “new patient” but they did see me. This time I was told that they have a “closed practice” and since I hadn’t had an appointment for over two years they couldn’t see me. The receptionist was unfriendly and kind of rude. Not the practice it used to be, that’s for sure.

Dr. Dixon and her staff are the best ever. They really care about their patients and go above and beyond to ensure good health and provide great care. I recently had a prescription medication emergency, which Dr. Dixon addressed immediately. Don't know what I would do without her. I trust her completely and appreciate everything she has done for me. Thank you Dr. Dixon. You and your staff are the best.

I'm just curious if Dr. Whitney Dixon ever checks her yelp reviews? Has she ever even had a discussion with her front desk staff about their ridiculous rude behavior? There is so many times the front office staff has been rude for literally no reason! Today was my last straw. I haven't left a bad review in the past for them because I didn't have a problem with the actual doctor herself. In fact she really helped my daughter! ... However I cannot justify putting up with the miserable staff that work at the front office. They are literally horrible! They called me and told me they had to cancel an appointment for my daughter because the doctor wasn't going to be there that day and so I rescheduled. The day before my rescheduled appointment (today) they called me saying that they wanted me to pay them money because of my no-show. When I told them that it was not a no-show and that in fact they were the ones who called me to cancel and made me reschedule, she INSISTED that nope she showed it being a no-show and that I owe the money. Super rude she said if I didn't like it I could write a letter to dispute it. It absolutely positively was not a no-show. It was a reschedule due to THEIR mistake and they have the nerve of asking me to pay them!!!! It's just too bad because the doctor herself is probably a great doctor! But the office staff is the absolute worst!

How disappointing. Coming back to Dr. Dixon's practice after several years, I was expecting the same warm, caring, woman-centered practice that I left. Unfortunately, one of the office assistants and the nurse practitioner left their compassionate side at home today. I had forgotten my mask after switching purses, and instead of handling the situation with compassion and understanding, I was the focus of all of the COVID-19 frustration that office is feeling. It was so bad that I walked out without the medical care I need and immediately found another gynecologist. I hope the rest of their patients are treated with more dignity and respect than I was today.

I've been seeing Dr Dixon for several years and truly can not imagine a more warm and welcoming practice. The staff is friendly, non judgmental and sincere all while being incredibly down to earth and easy to talk to. Most of my family and friends are patients of Dr Dixon and Deborah Malone and each of them have the same sentiments. Its perplexing to even fathom a negative review, let alone believe one.

Whitney and Patria are good but dealing with their office staff makes it hard to keep coming to see them. The office staff is condescending and abrasive. They are also almost impossible to get ahold of. They charge you a fee if you miss an appointment, but they don’t answer their phones and their voicemail says not to leave messages about appointments. I called multiple times on different days for almost a week just to try and change an appointment. Like I said, the providers themselves are fine but don’t come here unless you’re willing to deal with the front office staff.

From the moment, Dr. Dixon, walked into the room, she seemed annoyed. Then, Dr. Dixon, became increasingly impatient as I asked questions because I didn't fully understanding her hurried explainations. After having enough of being spoken down to, which made me distrustful of her, I mentioned I would like to get a second opinion on treatment reccomendation. She reacted with an attitude. On my way out she literally yelled at me for interrupting her (mind you, I was not understanding what she was saying and trying to clarify without her going on and losing me more).

Dr. Dixon, seems to forget that she is providing a very important service to her patients and has the responsibility of explaining things well and answering any questions with a polite, kind demeanor. We should remember that doctors get compensated well for what they do and patients deserve the utmost respect. I was leary of going to, Dr . Dixon, because of the other review describing a similar experience but gave her the benefit of the doubt. That was a mistake and I highly don't recommend her. Will be taking business elsewhere and waiting for an apology for her rude and uncalled for behavior.

Very Disappointed in this practice. When making new patient appointments they never told us we were seeing the nurse practitioners and not the doctor. When it was not an easy diagnosis for my child, they charged us with every phone call and after the second attempt the NP said she did not know what do. Did not even consult with the doctor. We asked to see the doctor and we were told no. The office manager was short with an uncaring attitude. Very disappointed. We have now switched offices and are much happier with the care received.
