Nurses and staff have unprofessional behavior. In the middle of my appointment the nurse left the room for 15 minutes. When she returned I asked her if there was an emergency… She responded with ā€œno I forgot to make some notes earlierā€. I was baffled. Not the first time something like this has happened before.
Definitely leaving the practice after that experience. 0/5

The receptionists and nurses are nice, but I don't recommend this practice. I had 2 visits with Dr. Wan, one of which was an ultrasound. I paid my copay at both of my visits and they've been hounding me with letters trying to get me to pay $500+ even though the bills they're sending have proof that I paid a copay both times.

Do not continue to go here if you unfortunately happen to experience a miscarriage . I experienced a miscarriage in August . I had an infection in my uterus from the baby being in me for so long / everything didn’t naturally come out . Even at follow up appointment there with all info , I was told ā€œgo home sleep it off.ā€
It’s now December and I am now having to go to planned parenthood every few weeks because my infection was never treated accordingly . I have been sick for months ! Some nurses and staff were nice here but the doctors I saw simply do not care & have disgusting bed side manners !

Had the absolute best experience at Women’s Health Care, both for my years there for gyn care and obstetrics. Everyone was always so welcoming and friendly. I have to point out the midwife I saw throughout my entire pregnancy, Kasey. She was so knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. I never felt rushed, she answered all my questions, and never made me feel like they were silly. She always made me feel so comfortable and at ease.
All of the nurses and staff at Anna Jacques for my delivery were also amazing. They were so caring, kind, and attentive. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will feel so comfortable going back for my next! Would definitely recommend:)

The front office ladies at Women’s Healthcare are very sweet and the midwives were wonderful to work with. I felt comfortable going to my appointments and never had a problem getting in touch with anyone when I called. With it being my first pregnancy, the midwives are knowledgeable and take pride in making sure their patients are cared for and always clarified any questions I had. Whenever someone asks about an OB I always recommend Women’s Health.

I’ve been a patient here since 2020 when I was pregnant with our first. The front staff at both Haverhill and Newburyport are so lovely and every provider I’ve seen is equally as friendly and kind. I’ve never had an issue getting through to anyone to book an appointment or talk to a nurse. Sometimes the hold times are on the longer side, but no longer than other doctor’s office in my experience. Giving birth to our daughter at Anna Jacques was a wonderful experience. The nurses there are just incredible during labor and delivery and postpartum. As a regular obgyn between pregnancies I always had a great experience. Now nearing the end of my pregnancy with our second and I feel very taken care of and I look forward to delivering again at Anna Jacques.

Can't say enough good things about Women's Health Care! I had a wonderful experience at every visit - from the office staff checking me in to all of the wonderful midwives that cared for me. Everyone was so attentive and friendly and were always available to answer my many questions.
Not to mention my delivery at Anna Jaques was absolutely amazing - I really can't thank the staff enough for taking care of me through my long labor experience as well as postpartum. All of the nurses and midwives taking care of me went above and beyond and I loved every one of them. I will absolutely return for any other births I have in the future.

It took me a long time to write this, but I would not recommend anyone expecting to choose this facility. While some doctors and midwives were great, there are also some extremely careless ones also. I went in for a membrane sweep on my due date. Kathleen Absalom, NP Was supposed to perform this for me but was unable. I informed her that I was having some fluid leakage the past couple days when I bent down and at night. She shrugged me off and said if it was my water breaking I would have a large fluid gush, then proceeded to cancel my next day appointment, making it another 5 days until I would be seen again. The next day a friend of mine pushed me to bring the issues up again and be checked at the birthing center. I did this, and it took a whole 2minutes to discover that my water was indeed broken, and had been for at least 72hrs. Induction was immediately started but because of the delay in treatment my son was born with sepsis and had to spend some time in the special care nursery on IV medication. Had I taken Kathleen Absalom’s advice and waiting until Monday to be seen again I think I would have lost my child. Instead of performing a two minute tests she belittled me and shrugged me off, her carelessness could have easily cost me my child’s life. I talked to her receptionist about everything and how upset and traumatic it was, who assured me she would talk to the manager. Either she didn’t , or the manager didn’t care because I never heard a word from anyone. Do better women’s health care.
