Obsessed with everything they sell. They have really nice furniture (if you like bohemian style) and the wine selection is pretty wide. I bought my xmas decor here and it's the cutest ever! The mugs are really nice. Can't think of anything I've disliked about this place.

I went there to do shopping but how can you walk around when you need desperately to releace the urine in your urinary tract that is hurting your kidneys and some zombie employee tels you the bathroom is closed!?!?!?!

Go for the little treats, stay for the customer service! I recently purchased a large haul of gifts for my mom’s birthday and Ian was so helpful. Ian showed me how to sign up for an extra 15% off my total and then offered to walk me to my car with all of my gifts when I had too many bags to carry. What a gem!

This is a very large store in Santa Cruz with an excellent collection of furnishings and decorative items for the home. Inspite of being large, it was rather well heated when I visited it.

This store has a variety of items to choose from prepackaged foods outdoor furniture, tables for inside or outside chairs inside or outside pillows etc. They might have stuff here that you won't find at other stores, such as Safeway Lucky's even Costco. So depending on what you're looking for give this place a shot it might have something you like Even just to walk in and browse around is a good thing to do. The staff is friendly and they're always trying to help you find whatever you need in the event you can't locate something. Remember it's not your typical grocery store.

I did an online order for curbside pickup, but when I went to pickup there were several items missing from my order. I only noticed when I got home so I checked the order online and now it said that some items hadn’t been available in store. The items were refunded no problems but I was missing parts of my order and there was some time sensitivity and unfortunately I wasn’t able to get them anywhere else online on that same day.

So, what I learned was ‘don’t count on World Market’- only order things that aren’t time critical.

Other than this recent poor experience World Market is part of my Christmas shopping each year. They have the best options for nice wrapping paper with many more options than any other brick and mortar. And the country specific food sections are great.

A nice touch this year was the online Christmas shopping experience where you could browse the shelves etc and get inspiration.

Worse customer service ever! I was in the food area and a worker just push her way past me. Didn’t say excuse me, can I help you or anything. Also the person who checked me out, Ashley, very rude and Mono tone. No hello how are you or anything at all. Seem put out when I asked her for a receipt and if I wanted a bag. Which she did not offer. It’s like your employees don’t like their job and don’t like being there. It’s a job, and they really need to at least be nice to the customers that come in there.
