Zia Medical Alaska was simply wonderful to work with. Jen is a creative problem solver, extremely knowledgeable and is so personable! She provided me with a thumb spica splint far superior to the one offered by my orthopedic clinic. It had better support, fit my small wrist with just a simple adjustment, was much easier to put on and looked my nicer. I wore it for two months - it was easy to clean and durable. My insurance company was billed, so my out of pocket cost was zero! Thank you so very much! I highly recommend this locally owned small business.

They have the fastest appointments, but it’s not because they push you through, but instead because they are highly skilled and know what you’re doing based off your comfort levels. The owner can read your comfort needs without you almost saying anything. Very well organized facility, great product, and very competent employees!

I have spinal stenosis, scoliosis, degenerative disk disease, degenerative arthritis & a deformed bone all in my low back. When I stand up from sitting for any length of time, I am in horrible pain and takes me a bit to stand up straight. I sit with pillows supporting my low back. I got a Sleeq Air Thuasne back brace from Zia Medical and it is a life changer! I put it on under my clothes in the morning and now when I stand up from a sitting position, my back does not hurt! I also live 2 hours north of Anchorage and long car rides are a killer for me! Not anymore with this brace! I am blown away!!! I love, Love, LOVE it!!!
My only critique of it is it is quite large and I am not. I do have to wear very loose fitting clothes to be able to wear it, but I understand why it needs to be this large. It keeps my back straight.
