👍 Reviews of ZoomCare Super - Bellevue

I came in with a nail I had drilled into and broke apart (oops! ) and all the staff from the front desk to the Dr were amazing. I felt well cared for and the convenience can't be beat, made a 7:30pm appt at 4pm, was seen early and I'm out the door by 7:50. It's never *fun * to go to the Dr but I actually had a good time, had some laughs and even got a Scooby Doo bandaid.
Definitely a great option for emergency care!

I went here instead of an ER when I had lower abdominal pain, turned out to be appendicitis and they ran all the tests quickly and scheduled me for surgery asap.

I made the right decision, everyone took great care of us and for a moment I forgot how trash our American health system is otherwise.

Was seen for abdominal pain which is NOT a preventative health visit. I am not sure why this clinic thought it was appropriate to bill my insurance under a regular primary care preventative visit. My insurance will not cover for it bc it is the wrong code that they used. Going back and forward between insurance and their billing department for 4 weeks and both parties are pointing at the other party stating that it is "processing" or there was an "error." This could have been easily prevented. It is extremely frustrating and upsetting.

It’s pains me to give a 2/5 review. I have overall had positive experiences at this place. I was a patient in for a migraine that hasn’t broken in 5 weeks. The doctor ordered the same medications I had during my last visit sans the actual pain reliever. The doctor refused to prescribe any pain medication. When I told him I wasn’t feeling better, he just administered more of the same medication that was already administered. I told him that didn’t work. He did nothing. I was given a referral and a prescription, but I left the urgent care without any relief or improvement. Perhaps providers could stop worrying about their own licenses and actually put patient care, and patient pain, first. Not to stigmatize or discount the whole person, especially when the patient is a healthcare provider as well. I received inadequate care and still have the unbroken migraine.

I had the best urgent care experience here- highly recommend even if you have to drive a bit to get there. Easy parking, scheduling, clean and modern clinic, very nice and attentive staff, quick and comprehensive care! It feels like medicine of the future and is absolutely better than a typical ER experience in every way.

I went in for severe ear pain and they left me waiting for the doctor for over an hour and a half after my appointment time. They were very brief once they finally showed up and referred me to the ER for something they should've been able to handle. I would not recommend for care and would not have gone in if I knew what I was getting into.

I can't believe how cheaper it was compering going to the ER for the same service, if not better. Great service and friendly stuff. I would highly recommend going there if you are in need of urgent care

I have been to the smaller zoomcare clinics multiple times for various reasons. Always was a generally positive experience, that’s why I was optimistic about the super location. I was wrong though. They told me that they would administer pain medication as well as a blood draw. Neither of these things ended up happening. After they administered my CT scan, they left me in the room alone for almost an hour, in pain, no pain meds or anything. They were not communicative at all, either. and once my CT scan results came back clear it seems like they just wanted to get me out as soon as possible even though I was still experiencing a lot of pain.

Dr Makela was nice enough, but you could tell that he did not really care and was trying to rush me out of there. He could not give me a clear answer on why I was in pain, and he didn’t even try either. There was a point where I emerged from my room to try and locate the doctor because he had told me that he would be right back. I had asked the nurses sitting in the hallway if I could speak to him and all of them just stared at me in silence, treating me like a massive inconvenience.

There was one nurse who was very kind and helpful. I do not remember his name right now, but he is the reason why I gave this review two stars instead of one. He was actually attentive, Answered my questions, and did not treat me like I was just inconveniencing him. He also noticed that they did not administer the pain medication that they had said they would which nobody else noticed. I also had a very positive experience with him at checkout, which made me feel a little bit better about the overall experience at this center.

around 9:20 PM I requested if I could talk to Dr Makela to ask him some more questions before I was discharged. when I requested this, he looked down at his watch, sighed loudly, and begrudgingly said “I suppose so… everyone’s going to leave here pretty soon though” I really did not appreciate this attitude because their center closes at 10 pm, which was 40 minutes away. He was behaving as if I walked into a restaurant 10 minutes before closing and asked for a meal.

I traveled far to make it to this appointment as per recommendation of zoomcare in seattle, and I am spending money to be treated. I do not appreciate being treated like an inconvenience. I’ve worked many closing shifts in my life before, I understand the desire to want to pack up ASAP, and maybe even get the chance to go home early. But I am there to get treated. And they were clearly just trying to rush me out as soon as possible.

Afterwards doctor makela was helpful when answering my questions, but it was so apparent he just wanted to be over with it. I don’t know if these people are not aware of how transparent they are, or if they just don’t care. Regardless, this was a frustrating experience for me because I came to this location at the recommendation because I wanted quality care, but I can confidently say I’ve received much more attentive and supportive care at my local urgent care/emergency room. I did not travel to Bellevue from Seattle to be ignored and left in a room alone for an hour.

Hopefully these nurses and providers will actually think about the fact that the people who come in to their center are not feeling well… and deserve quality attention and care. They chose their particular careers to help people and improve lives, and no one deserves to be treated like an inconvenience just for seeking that help. Definitely going to urgent care next time.
